A stunning self build project showcasing 9 of our different brick types for a range of different large bespoke houses in a rural village setting.
Completed in 2021, TBS worked closely with the developer Templeview and the merchant Gibbs & Dandy, to select each brick type on this development so that every plot had a had a different brick to each other.
Each plot was to be sold off to self builders so individuality was important in the design process to give each client’s plot a unique feel. You will also note that some of the plots used bricks from other plots as their feature bricks, this helped to continue the theme of uniqueness but also subtly allowed them plots to tie together as one community. TBS also assisted with the detailing of a lot of the plots feature brickwork. Offering advise on some of the features in the brickwork such as the stepped stretcher corbel header details, supplying plinths, and offering off-site assistance with prefabricated brick arches.
